THEME: WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?

All men are invited to join us for a time of fellowship, learning, and sharing. The weekend planners want participants to have a weekend of fun and spirituality. They are excited to share faith stories, to fellowship, to make new friends, and to become better disciples of Jesus Christ.

Schedule:
Friday:
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Conference registration and hotel room check-in
6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Dinner and Welcome
7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Session I
8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Session II

Saturday:
7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. – Breakfast
8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. – Session III
9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – Session IV
10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. – Break and Check-out
10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Activities and Lunch (on your own or join us for hot dogs and hamburgers provided by the Greenwood District)
4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Wrap-up and Holy Communion
5:00 p.m. – Depart

Cost: Registration fee – $35
Accommodations: $80 (double occupancy); Camping available – contact Hickory Knob State Park for pricing)

Churches can have gay Boy Scout leaders

The executive board of Boy Scouts of America has ended its ban on gay leaders. But religiously affiliated units still can maintain their own prohibitions. Only time will tell how this policy change will affect local troop membership as well as church-sponsored troops.
