Prayer Vigil in McCormick for Charleston Community and Emanuel AME Church
Prayer Vigil Scheduled in the McCormick Community, sponsored by the McCormick County Ministerial Alliance and the McCormick County Community Relations Council.
As the people of McCormick County become aware of the horrific and tragic act of violence which took place in Charleston last night at Emanuel AME Church our hearts and spirits cry out in pain, sadness, and outrage. The McCormick County Ministerial Alliance and the McCormick County Community Relations Council are joining together to sponsor a prayer vigil at MACK Park tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM.
The purpose of the vigil is to pray for the victims and their families, show our unity as people of compassion, and unleash the positive power of mutual respect and love in a fractured world. We are asking the church leaders, civic leaders, and interested citizens help to spread the word as we come together.
